Maxillaria lehmannii is a cloud-forest Andean orchid (ca. 700–2000 m), confirmed from western Ecuador and also reported in Peru. It bears large, often fragrant flowers, white to whitish-pink with purple spotting and a yellow lip. Best in bright filtered light, cool–intermediate temperatures and high humidity with an airy substrate.
