Maxillaria longissima is an epiphytic orchid native to Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador, found in cloud forests at ≈1,350–2,600 m. It bears slender, spidery flowers often reported as fragrant. Cultivation is cool–intermediate with bright filtered light, high humidity and good air movement.
