Pleurothallis anthrax is an epiphytic orchid native to southern Colombia and Venezuela, found at 2,100–2,600 m in wet montane forests. It belongs to subgenus Ancipitia, noted for laterally compressed ramicauls. Best grown cool, under filtered light, high humidity and a fine, airy substrate.
