Stanhopea tricornis is an epiphytic orchid native to Colombia, Ecuador and Peru (0–1,200 m). It produces a basal, pendant inflorescence carrying 2–3 large (~12–13 cm), strongly fragrant flowers. Grow warm–intermediate in bright filtered light, high humidity and basket culture so the spikes can emerge downward.
